CET
Most of Europe and some parts of North Africa operate under CET (Central European Time), which is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+1). To maximise evening daylight, most countries in this zone change to the Central European Summer Time (CEST, UTC+2) between March and October, with the aim of making sure that there is a common season change across the continent. HST
HST (Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time) . In Hawaii and the Aleutian Islands (which are 10 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-10)), HST (Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time) is used. It is interesting to note that Hawaii does not follow Daylight Saving Time and therefore its time is always the same all year round. This renders the islands a good timekeeper of the central Pacific.
