ADT

ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time) is use in the eastern provinces of Canada and some islands in the Caribbean during summer, sitting 3 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC−3). It start in March and end in November. In winter, people change to Atlantic Standard Time (AST). This provides more evening daylight for tourism and outdoor activities along the coast. HST

HST (Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time) . In Hawaii and the Aleutian Islands (which are 10 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-10)), HST (Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time) is used. It is interesting to note that Hawaii does not follow Daylight Saving Time and therefore its time is always the same all year round. This renders the islands a good timekeeper of the central Pacific.
