ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time) is use in the eastern provinces of Canada and some islands in the Caribbean during summer, sitting 3 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC−3). It start in March and end in November. In winter, people change to Atlantic Standard Time (AST). This provides more evening daylight for tourism and outdoor activities along the coast.
